About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Remote Pharmaceutical Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join their dedicated clinical operations team. Working from your home office, you will be responsible for monitoring clinical trials conducted at various investigative sites to ensure adherence to protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and regulatory requirements. This role is crucial for the successful execution of clinical studies, safeguarding data integrity, and ensuring patient safety throughout the trial process. This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned CRA who thrives in an independent, remote work setting and is passionate about advancing pharmaceutical research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site initiation, interim, and close-out monitoring visits for clinical trial sites.
  • Ensure adherence to study protocols, investigator brochures, SOPs, and GCP guidelines.
  • Verify the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of clinical data entered into the Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system.
  • Manage investigational product accountability and ensure proper drug storage and dispensing procedures are followed.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with investigators, site staff, and study sponsors.
  • Identify and resolve site-level issues, escalating problems as necessary to project management.
  • Prepare detailed monitoring visit reports and track action items for site resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related healthcare field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Thorough understanding of GCP, ICH guidelines, and relevant regulatory requirements for clinical trials.
  • Experience with EDC systems and clinical trial management software.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel to investigative sites as required (estimated 50-60% travel).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and proficiency in remote work tools and technologies.
