About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Remote Pharmaceutical Data Manager to join their expanding team, supporting research operations from anywhere. This crucial role is responsible for overseeing the collection, management, and integrity of data generated from pharmaceutical research and clinical trials. You will ensure that all data is accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory standards, enabling robust analysis and decision-making. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in data management systems, contributing significantly to the success of drug development programs in a flexible, remote-first work environment that fosters collaboration and efficiency across geographically dispersed teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain databases for clinical trial and research data.
• Develop and execute data management plans (DMPs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Oversee data entry, validation, and cleaning processes to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Generate data management reports, including progress reports and status updates.
• Collaborate with statisticians, programmers, and clinical operations teams to define data requirements.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Manager in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a focus on clinical trials.
• Proficiency with clinical data management systems (e.g., EDC systems like Medrio, REDCap).
• Strong understanding of database design, data validation principles, and statistical concepts.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for remote work.
