About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned and highly organized Pharmaceutical Project Manager to lead complex drug development projects from initiation through to regulatory submission, operating in a fully remote capacity. This pivotal role requires extensive experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving projects forward within demanding timelines and budgets. You will be responsible for strategic planning, resource allocation, risk management, and ensuring the successful execution of all project phases. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage cross-functional project teams (including R&D, clinical operations, regulatory affairs, manufacturing) to achieve project milestones.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure projects are executed in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., ICH-GCP) and company SOPs.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement timely corrective actions.
- Prepare and present project status reports, updates, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry) or a related field; PMP certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with a focus on drug development.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex drug development projects from early-stage research through to regulatory submission.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical R&D, clinical trial processes, and regulatory affairs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate diverse teams in a remote environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
