In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all pharmaceutical products and processes adhere to the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who excels in a remote setting and is passionate about upholding excellence in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities • Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with regulatory requirements. • Conduct internal audits and participate in external regulatory inspections, ensuring readiness and compliance. • Review and approve batch records, validation protocols, and other critical quality documentation. • Investigate deviations, out-of-specification (OOS) results, and customer complaints, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs). • Manage change control processes to ensure all modifications to processes, equipment, or documentation are properly evaluated and controlled. • Train personnel on quality system requirements and cGMP principles.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within the pharmaceutical industry. • In-depth knowledge of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), ICH guidelines, and relevant South African regulations. • Experience with document control, audit management, CAPA systems, and change control. • Proficiency in using quality management software and standard office productivity tools. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a strong ability to work independently.
