About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and analytical Remote Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Analyst to optimize their global pharmaceutical supply chain operations. This fully remote role is integral to ensuring the efficient and cost-effective flow of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished pharmaceutical products from manufacturing to end-users. You will analyze supply chain data, identify bottlenecks, and develop strategies for improvement, focusing on inventory management, logistics, and demand forecasting. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of supply chain principles within the regulated pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze supply chain performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and enhance delivery times.
  • Monitor and manage logistics partners and ensure compliance with transportation regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, manufacturing, sales, regulatory) to align supply chain activities with business needs.
  • Assist in demand forecasting and capacity planning to ensure adequate product availability.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on supply chain performance metrics and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis or operations, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for working effectively in a fully remote team.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical regulations related to manufacturing and distribution is a plus.
