About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Remote Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize their global supply chain operations. This pivotal role, operating entirely remotely, involves managing the end-to-end flow of materials, from sourcing raw ingredients to delivering finished pharmaceutical products to markets worldwide. You will be responsible for ensuring supply chain efficiency, resilience, and compliance with all relevant pharmaceutical regulations and quality standards. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of supply chain logistics, risk management, and stakeholder collaboration in the complex pharmaceutical industry, driving operational excellence from any location.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust supply chain strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of pharmaceutical products.
• Manage supplier relationships, including selection, qualification, and performance monitoring.
• Oversee inventory management, demand forecasting, and production planning to meet market needs.
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations (e.g., GDP, GMP) throughout the supply chain.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, developing contingency plans for disruptions.
• Collaborate with internal teams (manufacturing, R&D, sales) and external partners to optimize the supply chain.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Pharmacy, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain management.
• Proven expertise in global logistics, inventory management, and demand planning.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations (e.g., Good Distribution Practices - GDP).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead remote teams and drive operational efficiency in a virtual environment.
