About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and analytical Remote Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Specialist to manage and optimize their global supply chain operations. In this key remote position, you will oversee the procurement, logistics, and distribution of pharmaceutical products and raw materials, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance. This role requires a proactive approach to supply chain management and excellent coordination skills to bridge gaps between suppliers, manufacturers, and end-users. Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end pharmaceutical supply chain processes, including demand planning, inventory management, and logistics.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring continuity of supply for critical materials and products.
- Source and manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality and compliance with pharmaceutical standards.
- Coordinate international and domestic shipments, ensuring adherence to import/export regulations and timelines.
- Implement and utilize supply chain technologies and analytics to improve visibility, efficiency, and cost savings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain management or logistics.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and global logistics in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency with supply chain management software and ERP systems.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
