Remote Pharmacovigilance Specialist

About the Role

This role is crucial for monitoring the safety profiles of pharmaceutical products, collecting and analyzing adverse event data, and ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and assess adverse event reports from various sources (e.g., healthcare professionals, patients, literature).
• Ensure timely submission of safety reports to regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders in accordance with regulatory timelines.
• Conduct case assessments, determine seriousness criteria, and identify potential safety signals.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive safety databases.
• Contribute to the preparation of periodic safety update reports (PSURs/PBRERs) and risk management plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety.
• Strong understanding of global pharmacovigilance regulations (e.g., FDA, EMA, SAHPRA) and reporting requirements.
• Proficiency with safety database systems (e.g., Argus, ARISg) and adverse event data processing.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage workload effectively in a remote environment.
