Job Overview:
The Remote Pilot is responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of ZenaDrone's RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems) fleet on client project sites across Australia.
The role covers a range of DaaS applications including construction and land survey mapping, LiDAR/SLAM data capture, agricultural monitoring, and infrastructure inspection, and requires strict adherence to CASA regulations, ZenaDrone Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and client site safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and execute RPAS flight operations in accordance with CASA regulations, ZenaDrone SOPs, and approved Operations Manual procedures. Conduct pre-flight risk assessments, site surveys, and airspace checks (including NOTAMs and controlled airspace authorisations where applicable).
Operate DJI Matrice 350/400 RTK platforms with Zenmuse L2 (LiDAR) and H30T (thermal/zoom) payloads, and other approved ZenaDrone equipment, to capture s
