About the Role

Our client, a leading global management consultancy, is seeking a highly experienced Principal Consultant to join their expanding Technology Strategy practice. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of emerging technologies, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data analytics, coupled with extensive experience in strategic consulting. Key Responsibilities

• Lead engagements focused on developing and executing technology strategies for clients.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in technology consulting, IT strategy, or a senior technology leadership role.
• Proven expertise in developing and implementing technology strategies, digital transformation programs, and IT roadmaps.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong virtual communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring teams in a remote or hybrid environment.
• Proficiency in utilizing collaboration and project management tools for remote work.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is essential; a master's degree or MBA is highly desirable.
