Remote Process Development Chemical Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Remote Process Development Chemical Engineer to join their dynamic team. You will play a key role in developing and optimizing chemical processes, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and optimization of chemical processes, from bench-scale to pilot and commercial scale.

• Conduct thorough process analysis, including mass and energy balances, kinetic modeling, and simulation.

• Design experiments to investigate process variables, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance.

• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including process descriptions, P&IDs, and reports.

• Collaborate effectively with R&D scientists, manufacturing engineers, and project managers across different locations.

• Ensure all process designs adhere to safety, environmental, and quality standards.

• Stay current with advancements in chemical engineering and process technology.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.

• 5-7 years of progressive experience in process development, scale-up, and optimization.

• Proven expertise in chemical process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus) and data analysis tools.

• Strong understanding of chemical reaction engineering, thermodynamics, and transport phenomena.

• Excellent remote collaboration and project management skills.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver results in a virtual environment.
