About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Process Optimization Chemical Engineer to join their entirely remote team. This role is dedicated to enhancing the efficiency, yield, and cost-effectiveness of chemical manufacturing processes through advanced data analysis and simulation. You will work from home, collaborating virtually with plant engineers and operators to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets from plant operations to identify trends, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities.

• Recommend and help implement process adjustments to enhance yield, reduce waste, and lower energy consumption.
• Collaborate virtually with site-based engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on process performance and optimization recommendations.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in process optimization and data analytics.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, with a strong focus on data analysis and optimization.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques for presenting complex information.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong remote communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence effectively across distances.
