Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective strategies for sourcing and procuring construction materials, plant, and equipment.
- Identify, evaluate, and engage with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition, purchase order creation, and delivery tracking.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, budget constraints, and relevant regulations.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal project teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Demonstrated success in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in procurement software and supply chain management principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for remote collaboration.
