Remote Production Data Analyst

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly analytical and motivated Remote Production Data Analyst to join their distributed team. You will be responsible for collecting, interpreting, and reporting on production data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and support strategic decision-making. This fully remote position requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and exceptional data analysis skills. You will work closely with production managers and operational teams across different locations, providing insights that drive performance improvements and operational excellence, all managed within a collaborative virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and organize production data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze production metrics, identify trends, and generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Develop dashboards and visualizations to present complex data in an understandable format for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with production teams to understand operational challenges and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Identify areas of inefficiency, waste, or potential cost savings within production processes.
• Stay updated on data analysis tools and methodologies relevant to manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst , preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Strong communication skills to effectively present findings to non-technical audiences.
