Remote Production Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Remote Production Engineer to join their global team. In this role, you will be instrumental in optimizing hydrocarbon production from oil and gas assets, ensuring efficient and safe operations while maximizing recovery rates. You will analyze production data, identify operational issues, and develop solutions to enhance performance from a remote location. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production operations and analyze well performance data.
• Identify and diagnose production issues, recommending and implementing solutions for optimization.
• Develop and manage production enhancement projects, such as artificial lift system installations or workovers.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations for all production activities.
• Collaborate with reservoir engineers and geoscientists to align production strategies with geological and reservoir models.
• Prepare production reports and forecasts for management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in oil and gas production engineering.
• Proficiency in production analysis software, artificial lift design, and well test interpretation.
• Strong understanding of production operations, facilities, and surface equipment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills suitable for remote collaboration.
