About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and results-driven Remote Production Operations Manager to oversee and optimize their oil and gas production activities across various sites, managed entirely from a remote location. This senior leadership position requires a deep understanding of production engineering, operational efficiency, and team management in a distributed environment. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective production, driving performance improvements, and managing a team of field operations personnel. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to maximize oil and gas production volumes while minimizing operational costs.
• Oversee daily production operations, ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Manage and mentor remote and field-based production teams, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
• Implement best practices for equipment maintenance, integrity management, and operational troubleshooting.
• Analyze production data, identify trends, and implement optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with reservoir engineers, drilling teams, and commercial departments to ensure alignment and achieve business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in oil and gas production operations, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to manage complex operations and large teams effectively from a remote setting.
• Strong knowledge of production optimization techniques, artificial lift systems, and surface facilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
