About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and analytical Remote Production Planner to optimize their manufacturing schedules and resource allocation. Working from a remote location, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing production plans that ensure efficient workflow, timely delivery, and optimal inventory levels. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in planning software, and excellent communication to coordinate with various departments. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate production schedules, balancing demand, capacity, and material availability.
  • Collaborate with sales, procurement, and production teams to ensure alignment and forecast accuracy.
  • Monitor production progress and make necessary adjustments to schedules to meet deadlines and resolve potential disruptions.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to minimize costs and stockouts.
  • Generate reports on production performance, schedule adherence, and key planning metrics.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Production Planner, Materials Planner, or Supply Chain Planner in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in production planning software (e.g., ERP systems, MRP) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with remote and on-site teams.
  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
