Remote Production Scheduler

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Remote Production Scheduler to optimize manufacturing output for their operations, supporting teams near Mahikeng . In this fully remote role, you will be instrumental in creating, maintaining, and communicating efficient production schedules that align with demand, capacity, and resource availability. You will work closely with production managers, supply chain, and sales teams to ensure seamless operations and on-time delivery of products. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for all manufacturing lines.
• Collaborate with sales and demand planning to align production schedules with customer orders and forecasts.
• Monitor production progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and proactively implement solutions to keep schedules on track.
• Ensure adequate material availability by coordinating with the procurement and inventory management teams.
• Communicate schedule changes and potential disruptions effectively to relevant stakeholders.
• Analyze production data to identify trends, forecast future needs, and continuously improve scheduling efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Production Scheduler or in a similar planning role within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of production planning principles , capacity planning, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in using ERP/MRP systems and advanced scheduling software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working effectively in a remote team .
