Remote Program Coordinator - Social Services

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and organized Remote Program Coordinator to manage and enhance its social service programs. Operating entirely from a remote location, you will play a key role in the planning, implementation, and oversight of initiatives designed to support community well-being. This position requires excellent project management skills, a deep understanding of social service delivery, and the ability to foster collaboration among virtual teams and community partners. You will be pivotal in ensuring program effectiveness and reach, contributing significantly to our mission from your home office, serving communities across South Africa .

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of social service programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Develop and manage program budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability.
• Coordinate program activities, including outreach, service delivery, and client engagement, using virtual platforms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, partner organizations, and funding bodies.
• Monitor program performance, collect data, and prepare comprehensive reports on outcomes and impact.
• Lead virtual team meetings and provide guidance and support to program staff and volunteers.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Non-profit Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in program management within the non-profit or social services sector.
• Demonstrated experience in remote team management and virtual collaboration tools.
• Strong understanding of program evaluation methodologies and data analysis.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
