About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Program Manager to oversee and drive their community development initiatives. This role is crucial for designing, implementing, and managing impactful programs that serve underserved communities across various regions. As a fully remote position, you will leverage digital tools and platforms to connect with beneficiaries, manage project timelines, and collaborate with a geographically dispersed team. You will be responsible for ensuring that programs meet their objectives, remain within budget, and achieve measurable positive outcomes, contributing significantly to our client's mission from the comfort of your own home office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and execute comprehensive program strategies for community development projects.
  • Oversee project lifecycles, including planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Utilize virtual collaboration tools to effectively manage remote teams and stakeholders.
  • Analyze program data to assess effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and report on key performance indicators.
  • Foster strong relationships with community partners and beneficiaries through virtual communication channels.
  • Ensure compliance with funding requirements and organizational policies across all programs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, preferably within the non-profit or community development sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects remotely, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Proficiency with project management software and virtual collaboration platforms (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Asana).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adapted for remote interaction.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Public Administration, Sociology, or International Development.
