Remote Project Manager - Agile Software Development

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Manage the product backlog, prioritize user stories, and ensure clear understanding of requirements by the development team.
• Track project progress, identify impediments, and work proactively to remove them.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing remote team environment.
• Communicate effectively with product owners, stakeholders, and development teams across different time zones.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality software products on schedule and within budget.
• Promote continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices in Agile project management.
• Manage project scope and risk, adapting to changes as necessary.
• Utilize project management tools for tracking, reporting, and collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master, leading software development teams.
• Strong understanding and practical application of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, specifically tailored for remote team dynamics.
• Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, or similar.
• Ability to effectively manage remote teams and facilitate collaboration across distances.
• Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) management.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar Agile certification is highly preferred.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex software projects successfully in a remote setting.
