Remote Project Manager - Software Development

About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Remote Project Manager specializing in Software Development to lead projects from their home office. You will guide software development teams through the entire project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to coding, testing, and deployment. This role demands excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to effectively manage distributed teams and complex technical projects. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects using Agile methodologies.
• Define project scope, objectives, user stories, and success criteria in collaboration with product owners and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for software teams.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives for development teams.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, impediments, and dependencies to ensure smooth project flow.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on software development projects.
• Proven experience managing projects using Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and modern development practices.
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana).
