Remote Project Manager - Software Development Lifecycle

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proficient and organized Project Manager to oversee the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for key product initiatives. This is a fully remote position, requiring excellent virtual communication and team management skills. You will be responsible for guiding development teams through planning, execution, testing, and deployment, ensuring high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate thrives in a distributed work environment, excels at coordinating cross-functional teams, and possesses a strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices, contributing to the timely release of innovative products.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of the SDLC , ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery of software projects.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, QA testers, and designers in a fully remote setting .
• Define project scope, objectives, technical requirements, and success criteria.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, track progress, and manage resources effectively.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies, proactively communicating potential issues.
• Facilitate regular stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure team alignment and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; PMP or Scrum Master certification is a strong asset.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management , with a significant focus on software development projects.
• Proven ability to manage projects successfully in a fully remote environment , utilizing virtual collaboration tools.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and other software development methodologies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills .
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Git.
