Remote Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and skilled Remote Quality Assurance Engineer to join their distributed team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with development teams to identify, isolate, and track bugs, contributing directly to the delivery of exceptional user experiences. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere, with a focus on collaboration through digital tools and clear communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using issue tracking systems.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on design.
• Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.

Requirements

• Proven working experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test management tools and bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
• Familiarity with automation testing tools and frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote role.
