Remote Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Remote Quality Assurance Manager to lead their quality assurance efforts. This fully remote position is critical for ensuring that all manufactured products meet stringent quality standards before reaching the customer. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive quality control systems and processes that can be effectively overseen from a distance. The successful candidate will leverage technology and strong communication skills to guide and support a distributed team of QA professionals, driving a culture of excellence and continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing lifecycle, regardless of geographical location.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage quality assurance strategies and procedures for all product lines.
• Oversee the entire quality control process, from raw material inspection to final product testing and validation.
• Lead and mentor a remote team of Quality Assurance specialists, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve issues and improve product reliability.
• Collaborate with remote manufacturing and engineering teams to address quality concerns and drive product improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and customer specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the manufacturing sector, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools and methodologies.
• Excellent remote leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage a distributed team effectively.
• Experience with quality management software and remote collaboration tools is essential.
