Remote Real Estate Property Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Real Estate Property Manager to oversee their property portfolio. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to manage properties from anywhere. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of rental properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maximizing property value. The ideal candidate is an experienced property manager who excels at remote communication, possesses strong financial acumen, and is adept at managing diverse property portfolios efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of property operations, including tenant relations, rent collection, and lease administration, remotely.
• Oversee property maintenance and repairs, coordinating with vendors and ensuring timely completion of work orders.
• Conduct virtual property inspections and assessments to ensure properties are maintained to high standards.
• Handle tenant inquiries, resolve disputes, and ensure compliance with lease agreements and Gauteng regulations.
• Prepare financial reports, including budgets, income statements, and expense tracking for managed properties.
• Source and vet potential tenants through online marketing and virtual showings.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Property Manager or in a similar real estate management role.
• Strong understanding of property management software and remote collaboration tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, adapted for a remote setting.
• Knowledge of landlord-tenant laws and real estate regulations in South Africa.
• Ability to manage multiple properties and prioritize tasks effectively from a distance.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.
