About the Role
Our client, a dynamic Recruitment Consultancy with a growing presence, is looking for a strategic Remote Recruitment Manager to lead their talent acquisition initiatives from anywhere in South Africa, with a focus on supporting their operations in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal . This role is critical in shaping the company's talent strategy, managing a remote team of recruiters, and ensuring the efficient sourcing and placement of candidates. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process, implementing best practices, and fostering a high-performance culture within the recruitment function. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and motivate a remote team of recruitment consultants, setting clear goals and providing ongoing support.
- Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality candidate placements.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and key stakeholders.
- Monitor recruitment performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and recruitment best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in recruitment, with at least 2 years in a management or team lead role.
- Proven experience managing remote or distributed teams.
- Strong understanding of talent acquisition strategies and employment law.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment technology.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented, remote work environment.
