This position requires a deep understanding of the tech landscape, a passion for startups, and exceptional skills in candidate sourcing, engagement, and relationship building. You will act as a strategic partner to startup founders and hiring managers, helping them scale their teams effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle recruitment for various tech roles within startup environments.
• Source passive and active candidates using advanced search techniques and networking.
• Build strong relationships with tech talent and startup communities.
• Collaborate closely with founders and hiring managers to define role requirements and identify ideal candidates.
• Manage candidate experience from initial outreach through to onboarding.
• Utilize ATS and other recruitment technologies to track and manage candidates.
• Stay updated on tech industry trends, emerging technologies, and the startup ecosystem.
• Contribute to employer branding initiatives to attract top tech talent.
• Negotiate offers and ensure successful placements.
• Provide market insights and strategic advice on talent acquisition.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Specialist, with a significant focus on the technology sector, particularly startups.
• Deep understanding of various tech roles (e.g., Software Engineering, Data Science, Product Management).
• Exceptional sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and other relevant platforms.
• Strong interviewing and assessment capabilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities effectively in a remote setting.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• A passion for the startup culture and ecosystem.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is advantageous.
• Familiarity with the South African tech startup scene is a plus, though the role is remote.
