About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Remote Renewable Energy Systems Technician to join their innovative team. This role focuses on the remote monitoring, diagnostics, and maintenance planning for various renewable energy installations, including solar and wind power systems. You will utilize advanced software and data analysis tools to ensure optimal performance, identify potential issues proactively, and coordinate on-site interventions when necessary. Key Responsibilities
- Remotely monitor the performance and status of renewable energy systems (solar PV, wind turbines).
- Analyze system data to identify performance anomalies, potential failures, and optimization opportunities.
- Diagnose technical issues remotely and develop detailed action plans for on-site technicians.
- Coordinate and schedule preventative maintenance and repair visits for field teams.
- Maintain comprehensive records of system performance, maintenance activities, and incident reports.
- Liaise with equipment manufacturers and service providers for technical support and parts.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Renewable Energy Systems Technician , engineer, or related technical role.
- Strong understanding of solar photovoltaic and/or wind turbine technologies and operations.
- Proficiency with remote monitoring software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and performance metrics.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with field teams and stakeholders.
