About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Remote Research Data Scientist to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze research data.
• Clean, transform, and manage large datasets from various sources to ensure data integrity and usability.
• Develop visualizations and reports to effectively communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate remotely with research teams across different disciplines to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
• Identify trends, patterns, and correlations within data to generate hypotheses and guide future research directions.
• Evaluate and implement new data analysis tools and techniques to enhance research capabilities.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role, with a strong portfolio of data analysis projects.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and expertise in relevant libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and experimental design.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau) and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.
