About the Role Our client is seeking an innovative Remote Reservoir Engineer with a passion for digitalization to join their global team.

Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement advanced reservoir modeling and simulation techniques, incorporating AI/ML algorithms. • Analyze large datasets from various sources (well logs, seismic, production data) to identify trends and optimize reservoir characterization. • Design and evaluate enhanced oil recovery (EOR) strategies using simulation and data-driven insights. • Collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate digital tools and workflows into reservoir management practices. • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in reservoir engineering and data science. • Present findings and recommendations to management and technical stakeholders globally.

Requirements • Master's or Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or a related quantitative field. • Minimum of 8 years of experience in reservoir engineering , with a strong emphasis on data analytics and computational methods. • Proven experience in developing and applying AI/ML models for reservoir characterization and performance prediction. • Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., ECLIPSE, CMG) and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL). • Excellent understanding of reservoir physics, geology, and production engineering principles. • Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective remote teamwork .
