About the Role
- Develop and execute comprehensive reservoir simulation studies using industry‑standard software to forecast production and assess reserves.
- Conduct decline curve analysis, material balance, and volumetric calculations for various reservoir types.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and optimize production strategies.
- Perform economic evaluations and risk assessments for development projects and field re‑development plans.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for management and stakeholders.
- Mentor junior reservoir engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of reservoir engineering practices within the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Reservoir Engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., ECLIPSE, CMG) and data analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of reservoir characterization, fluid flow in porous media, and EOR techniques .
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
