About the Role
Our client is looking for a meticulous and efficient Remote Retail Operations Coordinator to manage and optimize operational processes for their stores, including those serving the Queenstown area. This fully remote role will focus on coordinating inventory, supporting store teams with operational queries, and ensuring adherence to company policies from a distance. You will be a key liaison between the central operations team and the store floor, utilizing digital tools to maintain efficiency and accuracy across all retail touchpoints. This is an ideal opportunity for an organized individual with a background in retail operations or administration to contribute significantly from a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate inventory management processes, including stock transfers, receiving, and cycle counts across various store locations.
- Provide remote support to store teams regarding operational procedures, POS issues, and stock inquiries.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of operational standards and compliance initiatives.
- Generate and analyze operational reports, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of operational data within the company's systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail operations, logistics, or a similar coordination role.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite or similar.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, suitable for remote interaction.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
