Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize daily delivery routes for a fleet of vehicles using specialized routing software.
• Analyze delivery data, traffic patterns, and client requirements to create efficient and cost-effective routes.
• Adjust routes dynamically based on real-time changes, such as traffic incidents or urgent delivery requests.
• Collaborate with dispatchers and drivers to ensure smooth route execution and address any on-road issues.
• Monitor route performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency and cost reduction.
• Maintain accurate records of routes, delivery times, and associated logistics data.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Route Planning , logistics coordination, or transportation management.
• Proficiency with route optimization software (e.g., Route4Me, OptimoRoute, or similar) and mapping tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for remote teamwork.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with geographical areas across South Africa is advantageous.
