Remote SCADA Systems Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proficient SCADA Systems Engineer to join their fully remote team, focusing on the development, implementation, and maintenance of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems for energy infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy SCADA systems, including HMIs, databases, and communication networks.
• Develop and maintain SCADA alarming, data logging, and reporting functionalities.
• Troubleshoot SCADA system issues, ensuring system availability and data integrity.
• Implement and manage communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3) between field devices and control centers.
• Develop system documentation, including design specifications, network diagrams, and operating procedures.
• Collaborate with remote field teams and other engineering disciplines to support system upgrades and expansions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting SCADA systems, preferably in the energy sector.
• Strong understanding of SCADA architecture, HMI development, and database management.
