Remote Senior Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using modern backend technologies.
• Develop and manage robust APIs, microservices, and data persistence layers.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system stability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems, providing timely resolutions to production issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C#) and relevant frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL), including design, optimization, and management.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications and security best practices.
