The Backend Developer role centres on leading the setup of new Magento projects, including version control and environment deployment.

Your deep expertise in Magento, PHP, and backend technologies will ensure the solutions we build are robust, scalable, and aligned with client goals.

The work

• Be responsible for crafting and maintaining high-quality, scalable code while ensuring alignment with project requirements
• Deliver advanced coding solutions with Magento, PHP, and GraphQL
• Optimise web applications for maximum speed and scalability

Experience that matters

• Proven ability to deliver high-quality backend solutions for e-commerce platforms, while d Magento backend developer to help lead the delivery of high-quality e-commerce solutions and mentor a growing team
• Advanced knowledge of Magento 2, PHP 8+, and GraphQL Good understanding of automated testing concepts and frameworks (PHPUnit, integration tests, API tests) Good understanding of server administration (Linux/Unix) and Dev
• Knowledge of performance optimization and caching (Redis, Varnish)
• You’ll need experience managing and maintaining projects as the main developer
• Ability to independently set up and deploy Magento projects from scratch
