Key Responsibilities • Develop, implement, and manage BIM standards, protocols, and workflows for various architectural and construction projects. • Provide technical expertise and support for BIM software (e.g., Revit , Navisworks) to project teams. • Conduct BIM training and mentoring sessions for internal staff and external collaborators. • Perform clash detection, model federation, and quality assurance checks to ensure model integrity and accuracy. • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate BIM into all project lifecycles. • Stay abreast of emerging BIM technologies and best practices, recommending advancements to enhance project delivery.

About the Role Our client is actively seeking a highly experienced Remote Senior BIM Specialist to join their forward-thinking organisation, operating remotely with a focus on projects in the Richards Bay region and nationally.

This role is central to driving the adoption and effective implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) across all project phases. You will be responsible for developing BIM standards, workflows, and strategies, ensuring consistency and efficiency in digital project delivery.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. • Minimum 8 years of experience in BIM coordination and management, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role. • Expert proficiency with Revit , Navisworks Manage, and other common BIM tools. • Strong understanding of the construction industry and project delivery methodologies. • Proven ability to develop and implement BIM execution plans and standards. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and remote collaboration skills.
