About the Role Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Remote Senior Chemical Engineer to spearhead process optimization initiatives.

This role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa, with a focus on improving existing chemical manufacturing processes for efficiency, safety, and sustainability.

You will apply advanced engineering principles and data analytics to identify bottlenecks, reduce operational costs, and enhance product consistency.

Requirements • B.Eng. or B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering . • Over 7 years of experience in chemical process engineering, with a strong emphasis on optimization and troubleshooting. • Demonstrated expertise in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, ChemCAD) and data analysis tools. • Proven ability to manage projects and drive initiatives to successful completion remotely. • Excellent understanding of chemical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and reaction engineering. • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
