About the Role Our client is actively seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer with a focus on Infrastructure Development to join their team in a fully remote capacity, servicing projects across Gauteng and beyond.

You will collaborate extensively with geographically dispersed teams, providing expert technical guidance and ensuring project objectives are met with innovation and precision.

Key Responsibilities • Lead the design and development of critical infrastructure projects, including road networks, water and sanitation systems, and urban development plans. • Conduct in-depth site analysis and feasibility studies, translating findings into robust engineering solutions. • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including design reports, specifications, and tender packages. • Provide expert technical consultation and mentorship to project teams remotely. • Ensure all designs adhere to the latest industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in sustainable engineering. • Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams through virtual communication channels.

Requirements • BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering. • A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design and project leadership. • Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is strongly preferred. • Demonstrated expertise in using advanced civil engineering design and modeling software (e.g., Civil 3D, AutoCAD, GIS-based tools). • Proven ability to manage projects and teams effectively in a remote or distributed work environment. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
