Remote Senior Civil Engineer - Infrastructure Development

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their expanding team, working entirely remotely from Stellenbosch, Western Cape . This position focuses on leading the conceptualization, design, and oversight of critical infrastructure development projects, including transportation networks, utilities, and public spaces. You will be instrumental in driving project success from afar, collaborating closely with clients, multidisciplinary teams, and regulatory bodies through advanced communication and project management tools. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and planning phases for diverse infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage systems, and water reticulation.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design teams remotely.
• Conduct advanced feasibility studies, site assessments, and impact analyses.
• Develop comprehensive project proposals, technical specifications, and tender documentation.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management.
• Proven expertise in infrastructure development, with a strong portfolio of successfully delivered projects.
• Proficiency in advanced civil engineering design software and remote collaboration tools.
