Remote Senior Civil Engineer - Transportation

About the Role

Our client is looking for a seasoned Remote Senior Civil Engineer with extensive experience in Transportation Infrastructure . In this fully remote role, you will lead the design and planning of complex road, highway, and public transit projects across the country. You will collaborate with project managers, designers, and stakeholders in a virtual environment, driving projects from conceptualization through to construction oversight. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior engineer seeking a flexible work arrangement while making a significant impact on national transportation networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of highway, roadway, and interchange projects .
• Conduct traffic analysis, capacity studies, and geometric design using industry-standard software.
• Prepare comprehensive design reports, technical specifications, and construction documents.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff remotely.
• Coordinate with clients, government agencies, and other consultants to ensure project success and compliance.

Requirements

• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Transportation Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in transportation infrastructure design and project management.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is strongly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in transportation design software such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and traffic simulation tools.
• Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale transportation projects.
