About the Role
Our client is actively seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Civil Engineer specializing in Water Resources to join their fully remote team. This position plays a critical role in managing and optimizing water infrastructure projects for clients across various regions, focusing on sustainable water management and supply solutions. You will leverage your expertise to design complex hydraulic systems, conduct advanced modeling, and provide strategic guidance on water-related challenges. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, analysis, and implementation of water resource management systems, including dams, pipelines, and treatment facilities.
- Perform hydrological and hydraulic modeling to assess water availability, flood risks, and system performance using advanced software.
- Develop comprehensive project proposals, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments for water infrastructure projects.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of excellence in remote collaboration.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met, addressing concerns and facilitating approvals.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to deliver high-quality engineering solutions remotely, ensuring adherence to international best practices and standards.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources or Environmental Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in water resource engineering , project design, and management.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent registration is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise in hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, EPANET) and GIS applications.
- Proven ability to manage complex, large-scale water infrastructure projects from concept to completion in a remote setting.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of successful remote team leadership.
