Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Senior Cloud Network Engineer to join their distributed engineering team. You will work collaboratively with engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless connectivity, robust security, and optimal performance for our global operations in the telecoms sector.

Key Responsibilities • Design, deploy, and manage secure and highly available cloud network architectures (VPCs, VNETs, peering, VPNs, etc.). • Implement and maintain network security controls, including firewalls, security groups, and intrusion detection systems within cloud environments. • Optimize cloud network performance, cost, and resource utilization. • Develop and automate network provisioning, configuration, and management tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. • Troubleshoot complex network issues across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. • Collaborate with application development teams to ensure network requirements are met for new services.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 4 years focused on cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Proficiency with cloud networking services and concepts, including SDN , load balancing , and DNS management in the cloud. • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. • Strong understanding of network security best practices in cloud environments. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with proven ability to work effectively in a remote team.
