Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
• Develop and automate security processes and workflows using scripting languages and security orchestration tools.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for new applications and infrastructure.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents, providing thorough analysis and remediation recommendations.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to embed security best practices into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Maintain and enhance security monitoring and logging capabilities across the environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a similar role.
• Expertise in network security, endpoint security, and cloud security (AWS, Azure).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation.
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and vulnerability management tools.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards.
