Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, plan, and execute regional and project-specific exploration programs for gold deposits.
• Interpret geological data from various sources, including mapping, drilling, geophysics, and geochemistry, to identify exploration targets.
• Manage and oversee drilling operations, core logging, and sampling protocols to ensure data quality and geological integrity.
• Perform geological modeling and resource estimation for exploration targets using industry-standard software.
• Conduct geological reviews and due diligence on potential new projects and acquisitions.
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including geoscientists, engineers, and management.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and budgets for exploration activities.
• Ensure compliance with exploration best practices, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior geologists and field staff.
• Stay current with the latest exploration techniques, technologies, and trends in gold exploration.

Requirements

• Honours Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Geology or a related Earth Science discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in mineral exploration, with a strong focus on gold deposits.
• Proven track record of successful greenfields and brownfields exploration projects.
• Expertise in geological mapping, structural analysis, and interpretation of geophysical and geochemical data.
• Proficiency in 3D geological modeling software (e.g., Leapfrog Geo, Vulcan, Datamine).
• Strong understanding of deposit genesis and exploration targeting strategies for gold.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings clearly.
• Experience managing budgets and project timelines.
• Must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, global team environment.
