Remote Senior Exploration Geophysicist

Key Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and manage ground-based geophysical surveys (e.g., magnetic, gravity, seismic, electrical).
• Interpret and integrate diverse geophysical datasets with geological and geochemical information.
• Develop and refine 3D geophysical models to identify and delineate potential ore bodies.
• Utilize advanced processing and inversion techniques to enhance data resolution and accuracy.
• Provide expert technical advice on geophysical methods and interpretations to exploration teams.
• Prepare detailed geophysical reports, target recommendations, and technical presentations.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Geophysics, or a related Earth Science discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in exploration geophysics, with a strong focus on mineral deposit exploration.
• Expertise in multiple geophysical methods relevant to base metals, precious metals, or other key commodities.
• Proficiency with industry-standard geophysical software packages for processing, inversion, and modeling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
