Key Responsibilities • Oversee all aspects of the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll. • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP. • Manage the external audit process, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors. • Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity. • Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional growth and performance. • Ensure compliance with all applicable tax regulations and reporting requirements. • Drive process improvements and implement new accounting technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation is required. • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management, with at least 3 years in a controller or senior accounting management role. • Extensive knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. • Proven experience managing audits and interacting with external auditors. • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing remote teams. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
