About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Remote Senior Full Stack Developer to join their distributed engineering team. This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying cutting‑edge web applications, working across both frontend and backend systems. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and responsive web applications using modern frameworks.
• Build robust backend services and APIs, ensuring seamless integration with frontend components.
• Write efficient, testable, and maintainable code across the full stack, from UI to database interactions.
• Actively participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision‑making processes.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers through agile methodologies via remote communication tools.
• Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Extensive experience (7+ years) as a Full Stack Developer , with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
• Expertise in frontend technologies such as React , Angular , or Vue.js , and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong proficiency in backend languages like Node.js , Python , or Go , and associated frameworks.
• Deep understanding of database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and microservices architecture .
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working effectively in a remote setting.
