Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee genetic studies, including population genetics, association studies, and linkage analysis.
• Analyze large-scale genomic and genetic datasets using advanced computational tools and statistical methods.
• Interpret genetic findings in the context of disease pathology and potential therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams, including molecular biologists, clinicians, and bioinformaticians.
• Develop and implement quality control measures for genetic data analysis.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Genetics, Genomics, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in genetic research, with a strong emphasis on human genetics and genomics.
• Expertise in analyzing next-generation sequencing data (WGS, WES, targeted sequencing).
• Proficiency with statistical genetics software and programming languages (e.g., R, Python, PLINK).
• Deep understanding of Mendelian and complex disease genetics, population genetics principles.
• Excellent communication, project management, and collaborative skills, particularly in a remote setting.
